	This upgrade ensures that the package
	continues to work in R 2.0.0. 

	(It is still compatible with R 1.9.1)

	There are a couple of minor enhancements and additions.

NEW STUFF

	distmap
	distmap.ppp
	distmap.owin
		Computes the distance map (distance transform) of a 
		point pattern or a window.

	copper
		New dataset: the Berman-Huntington data on copper deposits
		and geological lineaments. 

IMPROVEMENTS/ENHANCEMENTS

	pcf() now has an additional option "d" for the estimation method.

	plot.ppm() has minor improvements (axis labels, main title).

	demo(spatstat) slightly improved and accelerated.

DOCUMENTATION

	The following existing functions are now finally documented:

	  scanpp()   Read Point Pattern From Data File

	  setcov()   Set Covariance Function of Window

	[1] Package generated errors when run under R 2.0.0 
	due to the new "versioned installs". Fixed thanks to Brian Ripley.

	[2] Minor infelicity in help(split.ppp) fixed.
